Is it a scam? Answering point by point, with facts
An artificial intelligence flagged Lounge Secreto as a scam. We took every accusation and answered it calmly, showing how the service actually works.
We received a message from a worried customer. He had asked an artificial intelligence whether Lounge Secreto could be trusted, and the answer came back blunt: "this looks like a scam". It makes perfect sense to do your research before buying. We encourage it. The problem is that the AI got almost every point wrong, because it started from assumptions instead of facts.
So let us do the honest exercise: take each of its claims and answer head on. No defensiveness, only what can be verified.
"The price is impossible, so it must be fraud"
The claim: every visit to a VIP lounge costs between US$ 32 and US$ 35 at the counter, so a cheap pass can only be a scam.
The reality: that figure is the retail price, the most expensive one there is, charged directly to the consumer on the official site. There is also a wholesale and resale channel, with structurally lower prices on purpose. It is through that channel that banks build VIP lounge access into premium cards and offer "free" visits. The same logic that lets a bank hand you lounge entries on your card is what allows a lower price here. A price below retail is not a sign of fraud, it is how wholesale has always worked.
"This is illegal resale of someone else's access"
The claim: you would be selling corporate access, or someone else's access, under the table.
The reality: the access comes from surplus VIP lounge benefits, intermediated by an authorized commercial and banking partner. Nobody uses a third party's account on the customer's behalf. The account belongs to the customer, created for them, as we explain in the next point.
"You will be turned away at the airport"
This is the argument the AI found strongest, and it is exactly where it got things most wrong.
The claim: at the VIP lounge they check the boarding pass against the name of the account holder. If the names do not match, you are turned away.
The reality: that is precisely why it works. After activation, Priority Pass™ itself creates the account and the credentials in the customer's own name and sends them directly to them. The membership is theirs, in their name. There is no discrepancy to be caught at the counter, because the name on the boarding pass and the name on the account are the same person. We do not collect, do not ask for, and do not store the login of any existing Priority Pass™ account.
"It is identity fraud and improper charges"
The claim: they will clone your card or charge hidden amounts.
The reality: the payment goes through Stripe, which follows the PCI-DSS standard. Your card details never pass through us, they stay in Stripe's secure environment. You keep the full right to dispute: if at any point you feel entitled, you can dispute the charge with your bank or with Stripe in a straightforward way. In Brazil, anyone paying by Pix also has the MED (Mecanismo Especial de Devolução do Banco Central), the Central Bank's special refund mechanism, as an added layer of protection. And, again, we never ask for the login to your Priority Pass™ account.
"Only buy through the official site"
The claim: the only safe way is to buy straight from the official source.
The reality: the AI itself acknowledges that banks grant VIP lounge access through channels such as Visa Airport Companion, Mastercard LoungeKey and DragonPass. In other words, it already admits that authorized channels exist beyond the official counter. It is in that same kind of channel that we operate.
