Launch pricing: why it's more affordable right now
Lounge Secreto is a new product in its early stage. The affordable price you see today has a clear reason, and it isn't fraud.
A new product, and honest about it
Lounge Secreto is new. We are in the early stage of our roadmap, and there is no point in pretending otherwise. We would rather say it plainly: you are joining a project that is still building its customer base, and that is exactly why today's price is a launch price.
When someone sees the price we charge and compares it with the official Priority Pass™ site, the first reaction is usually suspicion. That is a healthy reaction. This piece exists to explain, calmly, why the price is affordable right now and why that is legitimate strategy, not a scam.
What a launch price is
A launch price is the one a new company charges at the start, on purpose, to win its first customers. The logic is simple: in the beginning, the priority is not margin, it is building a base.
Our goal right now is to attract and consolidate an initial base of customers. Once that base is in place, we can launch the next products on the roadmap and offer the best possible terms going forward. Those who join early enjoy the launch price, and it is a fair trade: you bet on a new product, and the product recognizes that in the price.
Prices rise in stages as the service matures. It is not artificial pressure, it is simply how any product that starts small and grows tends to work.
Why this price is possible without fraud
Here is the part that keeps people who searched "is it a scam?" up at night. The official Priority Pass™ site sells at the direct-to-consumer retail price, which is the most expensive there is. It is the over-the-counter rate.
There is another world of prices the ordinary consumer never sees: wholesale and reseller prices. They are structurally lower, and that is by design. It is how banks and authorized resellers manage to bundle airport lounge access into premium credit cards and offer "free" visits to the cardholder. Nobody thinks the bank is committing fraud when it puts Priority Pass™, LoungeKey or DragonPass on a card. It simply bought through the wholesale channel.
That channel is exactly where we operate. Access is arranged through our authorized commercial and banking partner, drawing on surplus airport lounge benefits. So a lower price is not proof of fraud: it is how wholesale works.
What happens after you activate
One detail that gives peace of mind: the account and the access credentials are created and sent by Priority Pass™ itself to the holder after activation, in the holder's name. The membership is in your name, with no mismatch against your ID or your boarding pass.
We do not collect, request or store credentials or logins for existing Priority Pass™ accounts. We never ask for your login. Each pass is valid for 1 year, with 10 visits and 5 guests, and you can verify your own pass at any time.
Why trust a new product
Being early-stage is not a hidden weakness, it is a fact we put on the table. And next to it we put what gives it substance:
- We operate through ALAS TECHNOLOGY LLC (USA), with a public tax registration (EIN 93-3927200).
- We are certified in ISO/IEC 27001 (information security), ISO/IEC 27701 (privacy) and ISO 37301 (compliance). Anyone can check on the official global registry: https://www.iafcertsearch.org/certified-entity/UznIPYSpq3FcLlqXMxNf73Pf
- Payment goes through Stripe (PCI-DSS): your card details never pass through us.
- You keep the full right to dispute (chargeback) with your bank or with Stripe, and in Brazil Pix is backed by the MED (Banco Central's Special Refund Mechanism).
A new product that accepts chargebacks, does not keep your card and never asks for your login is not betting on your confusion. It is betting on your trust.
The invitation
The launch price is our way of thanking those who arrive first. If you want to see it in practice, you can verify a pass at loungesecreto.com.br/verificar or look through the available plans. No rush, and no pressure.
