Your money protected: Stripe, easy refunds and full chargeback rights
Understand why the financial risk of trying Lounge Secreto is minimal: payment through Stripe, full right to dispute a charge, and extra Pix protection in Brazil.
The fear is legitimate, and so is the answer
Buying from a new online service can be nerve-racking. You look it up, you find conflicting opinions, and the question that lingers is always the same: "what if I pay and something goes wrong, do I lose my money?"
The short answer is no, you are not left stranded. Payment at Lounge Secreto was built in layers, and each one exists to protect your wallet. None of these layers is something we invented. They are standard mechanisms of the financial market, the same ones that protect any serious purchase made with a card today.
Let us walk through each of them calmly.
Layer 1: your card details never pass through us
Card payments are processed by Stripe, one of the largest payment platforms in the world, certified to the PCI-DSS standard (the global security standard for card data).
In practice, this means something simple and important: your card numbers never touch our servers. They go straight to Stripe's secure environment, which handles the charge. We do not see, do not store, and do not have access to your card data. There is no "card database" in our house to leak, because it simply does not exist.
Layer 2: you keep the full right to dispute
Here is the part that reassures people the most: you keep 100% of your right to dispute the charge (the well-known chargeback).
If at any point you feel the charge was not fair, or that the service did not deliver what was agreed, you can open a dispute with your bank or directly through Stripe. It is your right, guaranteed by the card network and by law. We have no way to prevent it, and we do not want to.
Broadly speaking, disputing a charge works like this:
- Gather proof of the charge (statement, confirmation email, transaction screenshot).
- Contact your bank or card issuer through the app, by phone, or at a branch.
- State that you want to dispute that specific charge and explain the reason.
- The bank opens the dispute with the card network, and Stripe is notified.
- The amount is usually held or refunded while the review takes place.
You do not need our authorization to do this. The process runs between you, your bank, and Stripe.
Layer 3: paid with Pix? There is the Central Bank's MED
For those who pay via Pix in Brazil, there is an additional protection created by the Central Bank itself: the MED (Mecanismo Especial de Devolução), a special refund mechanism.
The MED was designed precisely for cases where the customer feels wronged in a Pix transaction. You contact your bank, register the refund request, and the bank conducts the review within the Central Bank's rules. It is a layer of security that Pix gained to give more confidence to anyone paying by that method.
In other words: cards have chargebacks, and in Brazil Pix has the MED. On both paths, you have somewhere to turn.
Layer 4: we never ask for your Priority Pass™ login
There is a type of scam everyone fears: the one that asks for your password, your login, access to your account. That does not happen here, by design.
We never ask for, never collect, and never store the login or credentials of an existing Priority Pass™ account. The account and access credentials are created and sent by Priority Pass™ itself to the holder, in their name, after activation. You do not hand us any key to your digital life in order to use the service.
Add it all up and see how small the risk is
Put the four layers together:
Your card details stay with Stripe, you keep the full right to a chargeback, in Brazil Pix has the Central Bank's MED, and we never ask for your login. The financial risk of trying is, honestly, small.
Transparency also shows in the company registration. Lounge Secreto is operated by ALAS TECHNOLOGY LLC, a United States company with a public tax registration (EIN 93-3927200). It is not an anonymous name hiding behind a web page.
If you already have a pass and want to check, you can verify your code at any time at loungesecreto.com.br/verificar. And if you are still thinking it over, now you know: in case of doubt, the path back to your money is open, and it is the same as for any protected purchase.
Frequently asked questions
If something goes wrong, can I get my money back?
Yes. You keep the full right to dispute (chargeback) with your bank or Stripe, and in Brazil Pix has the Central Bank's MED. In case of doubt, the path back to your money is open.
Do you store my card details?
No. Payment is processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS standard); the data stays in its secure environment, never with Lounge Secreto.
